Description
Okeedokee Early Learning Centre is a relatively new private Early Education facility in the Norman Park area and is seeking an exceptional, enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Assistant. The candidiate must be dedicated to the profession and have a passion for high quality care and the education of children.
Since opening Okeedokee in February 2010, we have established ourselves within the community as a service offering high quality care and early childhood education.
During the latest industry reforms we have been proactive in preparing staff with the new National Quality Framework and National Regulations
We are looking for a team player who effectively communicates with families and staff alike.
In return we can offer you great working conditions in a fun, friendly and family orientated environment. The position is part time (37.5 hours per week).
We pride ourselves on retaining quality staff and believe it is important to provide our staff with opportunities to further their career within our company.
Requirements for the position include:
· Must hold Certificate 3 qualifications [or currently studying Diploma]
· Current Suitability Card
· Current First Aid / CPR
The candidate must have a good understanding of the Childcare Regulations and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and appropiate computer skills.
